BOSCA

Broomhill Out of School Care Association, runs a morning session in Broomhill Church between the hours of 8am and 9am for registered children attending Broomhill Primary School. The group also offers a lunchtime session held at the church for primary one children from 12.15 pm until 3pm. This service is provided as there is a settling in period at the start of term. Bosca collects children from school and brings them to the church for their lunch, activities and games.

In addition to use of the church facilities,  Bosca also provides an after school session from 3pm until 6pm in Broomhill Primary School. During in-service days, mid-term, Spring, Summer and October holidays, Bosca provides a Playscheme packed with activities and outings. The Bosca Playscheme takes place in Broomhill Primary School between the hours 8.30pm and 5.45 pm.

Bosca is inspected by the care inspectorate and their inspection report can be accessed online at http://www.scswis.com/. The group is also a member of the Scottish out of School Care Network and is currently working with service users and our staff to renew their aiming high award status awarded by SOSCN.
